Senior Vulnerability Assessor – Pen Test, Investigate & Strengthen Defensive Controls This senior role is suited to a hands-on vulnerability specialist who can investigate security issues, assess threat profiles, and translate penetration testing outcomes into clear risk treatment and security uplift actions. You’ll work across a range of assets and environments, supporting improved security architecture and risk awareness. Location: QLD, ACT, VIC Contract Duration: 12 months (possible 2 x 12-month extension) Security Clearance Requirement: NV1, NV2 or TSPV Essential Tasks: Conduct forensically sound security investigations across diverse assets/devices Undertake penetration testing and assess/prioritise vulnerabilities and mitigations Provide security advice and guidance to improve ICT security and reduce risk Evaluate security controls and review systems for actual/potential vulnerabilities Key Criteria: Demonstrated experience with threat intelligence/modelling or threat assessments Strong penetration testing experience and ability to explain findings/defence effectiveness Experience creating executive/business reporting on risk, mitigation and threat analysis CREST (Registered Pen Tester / Threat Intelligence Analyst) desirable How to Apply Does this role sound perfect for you?
