In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and finishing work across residential and/or commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Bells Creek, QLD. Main tasks : -Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required -Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment -Match colours and finishes according to specifications -Protect surrounding areas and ensure a clean and safe worksite -Quality control of the preparation to the finishing product -Maintenance of the tools and machinery -Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times -Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience : -Minimum of a relevant Certificate III qualification plus minimum 1 year’ relevant work experience. Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge : -Strong attention to detail and workmanship -Ability to read and follow job specifications -Good time management and organisational skills -Ability to work autonomously and within a team -Ability to communicate clearly with Clients and staff -Ability to lead a job and a team on a daily basis. Annual salary will be between $76,000.00 to $86,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
