Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking a motivated Desktop Estimator to join their office-based team. Your new roleAs the Desktop Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the estimating function from the office. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing repair scopes, reports, images, and documentation to prepare accurate estimates Preparing quotations for insurance repair works using industry-standard estimating software Liaising with supervisors, trades, and suppliers to confirm pricing and scope requirements Maintaining internal systems and documentation to ensure estimates are delivered on time Supporting the wider team with administrative estimating duties as required What youll need to succeed Experience in estimating (insurance repairs, construction, or maintenance fields highly regarded) Strong attention to detail and confidence working with pricing and documentation Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders Proficiency with estimating programs (such as Prime) is advantageous.
