About the Role Hair Heaven1 is seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our professional team. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of hairdressing services and deliver a high standard of client care. Key Duties Consulting with clients to determine hair care needs, preferences and suitability of styles Cutting, trimming, tapering and shaping hair using scissors, clippers and razors Applying colouring, bleaching, tinting, streaking and highlighting treatments Performing chemical treatments including straightening and perming Shampooing, conditioning and treating hair and scalp Styling hair using blow-drying, curling, straightening and finishing techniques Providing advice on hair care products and aftercare Maintaining hygiene, safety and salon presentation standards Managing client bookings and maintaining service records Skills & Requirements Minimum certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience First Aid Certificate (desirable but not mandatory) Customer Service & Retail Skills Proven ability to build and retain client base Experience in upselling and recommending retail hair products Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Ability to maintain 5-star client experience standards Soft Skills & Professional Conduct Professional presentation and grooming standards Strong time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Positive and proactive attitude Demonstrated experience in advanced colouring techniques (balayage, colour correction, blonde specialist work preferred) Experience with premium or professional hair brands Ability to perform full client consultations independently Strong knowledge of hair and scalp health treatments Work Conditions Full-time position (38 hours per week) Weekend work may be required Must be physically able to stand for extended periods Pay: $80,000.00 per Annum plus super Benefits: Employee discount Free drinks Maternity leave Parental leave Professional development assistance Relocation assistance Work Location: Truganina VIC, In person
