We’re on the lookout for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our friendly team at Orchard Road Community Early Learning Centre in Doreen. This is a full-time, fixed-term parental leave cover position through to January 2026. Weekly hours will include 25 contact hours and 13 non-contact hours. Some of your key duties will include: Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment. Document children’s learning and development effectively. Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families. Work collaboratively with fellow educators and leadership. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma quals. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and National Regulations. Ability to implement curriculum planning and assessment processes aligned with these frameworks. Proven ability to plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality education programs. Strong understanding of play based learning and inquiry-based approaches. Committed to ongoing professional development, with strong reflective practice skills.
