Position Description: The Business Analyst supports Wavicle Logistics’ end-to-end freight, warehousing, and distribution operations across South Australia by working closely with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into clear requirements and system specifications. The role focuses on analysing and improving core workflows such as warehousing storage, stock replenishment & picking, packaging and dispatch, and delivery coordination, while supporting system enhancements that strengthen reliability, punctuality, customer visibility, and real-time tracking outcomes. Key duties and responsibilities: · Collaborate with operations, dispatch and warehousing teams to gather and document business requirements across freight, warehousing, distribution, and delivery workflows. · Analyse current processes and work practices, identify gaps/inefficiencies, and recommend improved workflows and required system functionality/behaviour to support reliability and visibility. · Support project delivery using structured methodologies, including planning, estimating effort, coordinating resources, and tracking outcomes across operational improvements. · Own functional implementation activities such as UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and test planning—preparing scenarios, supporting users through testing, logging issues, validating fixes, and supporting go-live readiness. · Prepare functional specifications for developers/vendors and create process/data models to guide system design and enhancements. · Develop user guides and training materials, deliver training sessions, and act as the key reference for system/project decisions. To be successful in this role, you must be: · Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-moving logistics environment · Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident working with operational and technical stakeholders · Able to work under pressure and meet project and release deadlines · Strong in documentation, communication, and process improvement Minimum Requirements: · A Master’s qualification in a relevant field · Minimum 3 years of relevant Business Analyst experience · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (process data driven) · Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Salary and Benefits: This position provides an annual base salary between AUD 86,000 and AUD 96,000 , plus 12% superannuation in addition to the salary , commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
