The Role As a Licensed Customs Broker, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and compliant clearance of import and export shipments while providing high-level service to clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare and lodge import/export declarations via EDI Apply accurate tariff classifications and determine customs value and origin Assess Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility and applicable concessions Calculate duties, GST, and applicable charges Liaise with Australian Border Force (ABF), freight forwarders, shipping lines, and biosecurity authorities Maintain, complete and audit-ready documentation Provide technical advice and guidance to clients About You Licensed Australian Customs Broker Proven experience within a freight forwarding or customs brokerage environment Strong knowledge of Australian customs legislation and compliance requirements Experience using EDI systems and CargoWise (highly regarded) Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Whats on Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Stable, financially secure organisation Structured processes and supportive leadership Ongoing professional development Opportunity to grow within a collaborative team environment Location Tullamarine If you are a licensed broker seeking stability, professional growth, and a role where your expertise makes a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
