The Role We are seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator to support our Marketing team in planning, capturing and editing engaging video content that reflects Blue Illusion’s French inspired aesthetic and The Style Confidante storytelling approach. Working on a casual basis , on-site in our St Kilda Support Centre and reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing , you will collaborate closely with our dynamic Marketing team to influence, produce and deliver social-first content that drives brand engagement. This role is perfect for a media student or emerging creative looking to gain hands-on experience in a brand-led, visually driven environment. You’ll be involved end-to-end – filming, editing and producing short-form content for our social and marketing channels, while supporting campaigns, boutique storytelling, events and behind the scenes moments. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Filming Film video content on location, including boutiques, campaigns, styling sessions and events Capture behind-the-scenes and lifestyle content aligned to brand direction Work to creative briefs and content plans provided by the Brand & Marketing team Collaborate with Social Media Coordinator and Head of Brand & Marketing on photoshoots Editing & Post-Production Edit short-form video content for social platforms (Instagram, Reels, Stories, TikTok) Ensure edits align with brand tone, pacing and visual standards Export, organise and manage footage and final assets Brand & Creative Support Translate creative direction into polished, engaging content Maintain consistency with Blue Illusion’s brand guidelines and aesthetic Assist with content delivery timelines and handover requirements About You Experienced and talented at filming with camera or smartphone Strong editing capability with attention to detail and storytelling Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team Experience using CapCut Currently studying or recently qualified in Film, Media, Communications or Content Creation Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro Creative, observant and visually minded Able to be available at short notice when content opportunities or campaign needs arise.
