Position: Hairdresser (Barber) Position Type : Full-Time, Permanent - 38 hours per week Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Bondi Junction NSW 2022 Our client is seeking an experienced Barber to join their team located in Bondi Junction, New South Wales. This Hairdresser (Barber) position is a full-time role responsible for delivering professional barbering services. The role involves providing high-quality grooming services, maintaining workplace hygiene standards, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with Australian workplace regulations. Duties and Responsibilities: ·Consult with clients to determine haircut and grooming requirements. ·Cut, trim, taper and style hair using clippers, scissors and razors. ·Perform skin fades, traditional and modern barbering techniques. ·Shave and shape beards and moustaches. ·Provide razor line-ups and precision detailing. ·Shampoo, condition and treat hair and scalp where required. ·Recommend and apply appropriate hair care and styling products. ·Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of tools and equipment. ·Manage appointments and provide professional customer service. ·Monitor stock levels and assist with retail product sales. ·Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations. Requirements: Qualifications ·Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification; or a minimum of three (3) years fulltime relevant industry experience. Skills and Experience Required ·Minimum 2–3 years of relevant barbering experience. ·Demonstrated proficiency in modern and traditional barbering techniques. ·Strong customer service and communication skills. ·Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced barbershop environment. ·Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards. ·Ability to communicate effectively in English. ·Additional languages such as Spanish, Italian and French are considered an advantage due to the diverse international clientele.
