The Opportunity: In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of clients while leading a small team of bookkeepers to ensure high-quality, compliant and timely service delivery. You will be a key part of the businesses senior leadership group and play an important role in workflow management, quality control and team development. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of small to medium businesses Deliver end-to-end bookkeeping services including reconciliations, BAS preparation and payroll Act as the main point of contact for key clients and build strong ongoing relationships - you will be the face of the Bookkeeping Division Lead, coach and support a small team of bookkeepers Review work, manage workflows and ensure deadlines are met Assist with process improvements and best-practice standards across the business Support the business owner with team performance You will bring: Several years' experience in a senior bookkeeping role (practice or outsourced environment preferred) Strong working knowledge of Xero is essential! Experience preparing BAS, payroll and superannuation A natural ability to build rapport with clients and act as a trusted advisor Previous experience mentoring or leading junior bookkeepers (formal or informal) Excellent organisation, communication and time-management skills Must be a registered BAS Agent.
