Lead end-to-end delivery of 15 storey projects across a secured pipeline Exciting Adelaide projects and Relocation Opportunity Competitive package for proven high-rise capability About the Role An opportunity to step into a true client-side Senior Project Manager role, overseeing multiple concurrent projects from feasibility through handover. You’ll be actively driving program discipline, cost control, documentation quality and risk management while coordinating consultants, challenging builder claims, and ensuring outcomes that protect and enhance developer margin. Duties Lead delivery of construct-only and D&C high‑rise residential projects (15–30 levels), plus mid‑rise and other assets Own program and cost: interrogate feasibility, protect margin, identify 1–2% savings through design/procurement optimisation Challenge claims: assess and negotiate builder claims, variations and EOTs; ensure meeting minutes are detailed and defensible Coordinate consultants: drive documentation integrity, oversee design coordination and technical compliance Approvals & compliance: manage planning pathways (including SCAP and council interfaces), codes, WHS and environmental obligations Quality & reporting: implement QA/QC, guide monthly financial reporting (internal and funder requirements), prepare financier progress claims with QS Leadership: mentor and direct project/construction teams; embed best‑practice project management and continuous improvement Stakeholder engagement: maintain strong communication with owners/executives, consultants, authorities and contractors Skills and Experience 5 years in vertical construction with proven delivery of 15 storey buildings (Tier 1/2 builder and/or established developer background ideal) Deep understanding of programming, sequencing and basement staging, with the ability to run multiple projects concurrently Strong commercial acumen: confident challenging QS positions, builder claims and procurement strategies Exposure to Adelaide planning pathways and experience managing SCAP and council processes Advanced project management methodologies and industry best practice; excellent documentation control Strong contractor leadership and external stakeholder management; solution‑driven under pressure Tech‑savvy: Microsoft Office and relevant construction/project software Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Building & Construction or Project Management (required) Licences/Checks: Current driver’s licence and police clearance (or ability to obtain) This role will suit: a direct communicator who takes ownership, is commercially assertive yet collaborative, and is comfortable working closely with business owners on fast‑moving, complex projects.
