Our Client, PROTECTOR ALUMINIUM & GLASS PTY LTD is looking for a qualified Metal Fabricators & Welders. Key Responsibilities: Determine required equipment and welding methods based on engineering drawings and specifications. Develop structural templates and work aids to hold and align parts accurately. Analyze engineering drawings to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. Read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings to meet fabrication and welding requirements. Fabricate aluminium components through punching, cutting, drilling, welding, sanding, dressing, and grinding. Lay out, position, and secure parts using tools such as straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. Cut workpieces using powered saws or cutting disks. Remove rough spots from workpieces using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. Perform MIG and TIG welding of aluminium components and assemblies. Weld components in both flat and vertical positions. Heat, form, and dress metal parts using hand tools and welding equipment. Adjust valves, amperage, or voltage to achieve desired flame or arc.
