Silk Hospitality is seeking Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team at a 5-star hotel in the central of Melbourne. As Executive Housekeeper, you will create an exceptional guest experience, uphold the highest standards of luxury, and lead a strong, motivated team. In this key leadership role, you will drive performance, inspire your team, and maintain exceptional standards within a fast-paced, high-performing environment. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to; Lead and oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards Build, coach and develop a high-performing team through strong leadership and accountability Drive productivity, performance and operational efficiency across the department Manage budgets, inventory and cost control to deliver effective resource management Conduct regular quality inspections to maintain consistent standards in guest rooms and public areas Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations Collaborate with hotel leadership to deliver seamless guest experiences and continuous improvement What We're Looking For: Proven senior leadership experience in a 4- or 5-star housekeeping environment A strong people leader who builds, coaches and develops high-performing teams Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, performance, productivity and service excellence Confident managing large teams, workforce planning, succession planning and optimisation In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, quality standards and continuous improvement Experience implementing process improvements and maintaining strict presentation standards Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at executive level A hands-on, visible leader who leads by example and fosters a culture of ownership, pride and excellence Why Join Silk Hospitality?
