Job Description At AECOM, we’re delivering some of North Queensland’s most important transport infrastructure projects — and we’re looking for a Civil Engineer ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone with 1–5 years’ experience who wants hands-on involvement across the full project lifecycle and the opportunity to build strong capability in TMR-aligned projects and standards. How you’ll make a difference Contribute across transport planning, detailed design and construction phase support Deliver technical design across pavements, drainage and traffic, building breadth as a civil generalist Support project delivery through technical input, coordination and oversight of design packages Work alongside experienced engineers on TMR and local government projects Develop into a well-rounded transport and civil infrastructure engineer with exposure across multiple disciplines What you’ll be working on Highway upgrades including road widening, reconstruction and floodplain works Major regional transport infrastructure including bridges and road upgrades Local council projects such as road and footpath design and upgrades A mix of small municipal and large-scale Mackay-based projects Strong exposure to TMR standards, specifications and project delivery frameworks Why AECOM?
