Location: Mackay, QLD About the Urgent Care GP Role This is an Urgent Care Clinic, operating seven days a week from 8am to 10pm. You will work with nursing support on every shift, led by an experienced head nurse and a practice manager handling the operational side. Busy at times, but structured. You are not on your own. Treating a broad mix of injuries, acute issues, and minor trauma Performing procedures including cannulation, ECGs, suturing, and airway management Making fast, sensible decisions and delegating when needed Working alongside experienced nurses who understand urgent care flow Requirements for Urgent Care General Practitioners VR GP registration Prior hospital, ED, or urgent care experience Confident with procedures and acute decision-making under pressure Willing to work bulk billing urgent care Reliable and able to commit to agreed shifts This is moving quickly.
