What You'll Do As a Geophysicist at WSP in Australia, you'll be hands-on across a variety of exciting geophysical investigations, both on land and over water. You will: Deliver near-surface geophysical surveys including seismic refraction, MASW, electrical resistivity imaging, magnetics, GPR, electromagnetics, and microgravity. Conduct downhole geophysical logging using televiewer and seismic tools. Support the collection of over-water geophysical data such as seismic reflection, refraction, resistivity, magnetic and bathymetry datasets. Design shallow land-based and marine geophysical surveys using a range of techniques. Process, analyse, and interpret data using industry-standard geophysical software. Integrate geophysical and geotechnical datasets to deliver high-value insights. Maintain, troubleshoot and calibrate geophysical equipment. Collaborate closely with specialists across WSP offices and disciplines to deliver seamless project outcomes. About You You'll bring a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and a willingness to work in dynamic environments. You're likely to offer: A Bachelor of Science (Geophysics or related field). Postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded. Practical experience in at least two of the following: Seismic refraction Seismic reflection MASW Electrical resistivity imaging Ground penetrating radar Borehole televiewers Electromagnetics Magnetometry Microgravity Experience applying geophysics in structural geology or geotechnical contexts. Excellent communication skills and confidence preparing clear, technically sound reports. A willingness to work in the field, including remote project locations.
