About AIBT Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT) is an Australian education provider with campuses in Adelaide and Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to deliver our business development strategy across Southeast Asia and other assigned APAC markets. The Role The primary purpose of this role is to deliver AIBT’s business development strategy in Southeast Asia, driving sustainable student/member growth and increasing brand awareness of AIBT’s value proposition. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Supporting the development and execution of a Southeast Asia market strategy and business plan, with a focus on student/member growth and brand awareness Supporting and implementing acquisition strategies to build recognition and demand for AIBT qualifications, creating a sustainable pipeline Driving recruitment via presentations, campaigns and engagement activities, and increasing university exemptions / pathways where applicable Promoting and communicating updates relating to AIBT qualifications, examinations and new products Planning and delivering business development events, stakeholder engagement and acquisition activities in market Monitoring and reporting on economic conditions, education sector trends, competitor activities and product/service developments to inform strategy Managing stakeholder accounts and building AIBT’s presence and reputation across the region Providing market insights and intelligence to support leadership decision-making About You To be successful, you will have: A relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Marketing, International Education, Communications or similar), or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience (typically 3 years) in business development / international student recruitment / education partnerships, preferably across Southeast Asia Proven capability in building and managing stakeholder relationships (agents, institutions, partners, associations, government/industry bodies) Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to deliver campaigns and represent the organisation in-market Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, competitor activity and performance metrics Confidence using CRM systems and reporting tools (e.g., lead management, pipeline tracking, conversion reporting) High level of organisation and autonomy, including planning events and travel schedules Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
