Reporting into the Project Manager - Rental & Safety Services, the Emergency Services Officers (“Rescue Coordinators”) will be based in Brisbane, Queensland and work across our customer sites. We are targeting expressions of interest as we will be hiring multiple Rescue Coordinators late 2025 and early 2026 on an ongoing full-time and ongoing casual basis. As a Rescue Coordinator, you will play a key role in providing safety services as per scope with a focus on the emergency response and rescue. Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Provide emergency response services for our customers to ensure the safety of employees during projects; Assist in mobilisation, operation, and demobilisation of safety service projects; Perform the duties of a shift leader during onsite safety staffing projects; Support developing and reviewing risk assessments and rescue plans; Maintain accurate service records to provide traceability of maintenance documentation; Prepare written documentation for operating time, performance records, and project progress; Promote and develop quality system methods, continuous improvement techniques and practices; Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and; Always ensure a safety-first approach. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes: Current Driving Licence; Relevant trade or technical qualification; 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar environment (preferred); Sound understanding of emergency management principles and practices; Nationally certified accreditations in, but not limited to; Construction Safety Training (White/Blue Card), Working At Heights, Confined Space Entry, Gas Test Atmospheres, Confined Space Rescue, Vertical Rescue, Advanced First Aid; Ability to articulate product information, identify customer needs and ways to satisfy them; Capable of conducting inherent physical requirements of the role; Proficient in computer operation and Microsoft applications; Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn; Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and; Excellent analytical, problem solving, facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills.
