See Yourself at Telix The Research Project Manager ensures the smooth running of research and development activities for an international team with diverse scientific backgrounds. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including tracking and reporting projects, deliverables and milestones, managing budgets, organizing meetings and events, and assisting with the administration of research contracts. The Project Manager will also effect review meetings with key research partners and facilitate access to grant opportunities in support of Telix’s research and commercial objectives. The position is based in Telix HQ in Melbourne (Australia) but requires extensive interaction with team members, internal/external stakeholders and collaborators across the USA, Europe, Japan, and other international locations. Some domestic and international travel may be expected. The role contributes to the achievement of Telix’s strategic goals by providing project management expertise and coordination to research leadership, strategic input, financial oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and administration. Key Accountabilities: Monitoring and reporting research project activities, tracking deliverables and timelines across the portfolio. Liaising closely with the finance team to ensure financial compliance, administration of financial & contract processes and reporting expenditure against budgets for research activities. Troubleshooting budgeting and invoicing issues if they arise. Monitor contractual and license obligations for research activities such as advising progress against agreed development timelines, reporting requirements and milestone payments. Supporting the research team in the establishment and facilitation of Strategic/Pipeline Review meetings to manage the Telix pipeline and report on the status of key research projects. Manage and conduct meetings to manage relationships with key research partners. Acting as a contact point for internal stakeholders to facilitate meetings, drive alignment, generate goodwill, establish trust with partners and proactively resolve any issues. Education and Experience: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in the life sciences with qualifications in pharmacology, biochemistry or chemistry preferred. Additional post-graduate qualifications in life sciences would be well-considered. Qualifications or training in Project management or Business administration 5 years work experience in a project management role in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science sector or similar alliance management or similar roles in a technical or medical device business. Demonstrated understanding and application of project management principles and tools. Strong understanding of the drug development industry (drug/device/technology/etc.) and the commercial environments in which it operates. Proven expertise in managing projects, timeline management, budget tracking and coordination of internal & external stakeholders.
