You’ll lead the development and execution of the branch business plan, ensure strong operational discipline, and create an environment where team members can perform at their best and customers choose RDO for the long term. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and deployment of the branch business plan, aligned to RDO’s financial and operational objectives Take full accountability for branch performance, including sales, budget, profitability, and key operational benchmarks Lead, coach, and develop the leadership team and broader branch workforce Build a strong safety‑first culture, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations Foster a positive, accountable, and inclusive workplace where people feel supported and challenged to grow Build strong customer relationships, working across departments to deliver outstanding customer outcomes Manage receivables in partnership with Department Managers and implement effective collection strategies Coordinate branch activities through effective delegation, communication, and collaboration Partner with specialist and support teams to drive strategy, capability uplift, and continuous improvement Act as a visible leader in the local community, protecting and enhancing the RDO brand and reputation What We’re Looking For You’re a confident, grounded leader who balances commercial acumen with genuine care for people someone who inspires trust and brings out the best in others Proven senior leadership experience with full profit & loss responsibility, ready to step up and take ownership A track record of leading teams to achieve sustainable performance and growth your achievements speak for themselves Strong emotional intelligence, self‑awareness, and a collaborative leadership style, people want to work with you and for you Experience within agriculture, construction, or heavy equipment environments (highly regarded, but not essential your leadership skills are what count most) A genuine interest in developing people, spending time with your leaders, sales teams, and customers, and becoming a true mentor and champion for your branch Comfortable leading change, challenging ways of working, and driving improvement with a forward-thinking mindset Who is RDO RDO Equipment sells and supports John Deere Construction, Forestry, Agriculture and Turf products, as well as Vermeer Corporation’s range of Construction and Environmental products.
