Responsibilities The Steward/Kitchen Hand is responsible for providing attentive and efficient kitchen support and the delivery of high-quality service, whilst adhering to Company policies and procedures. The primary focus of the role is to support the kitchen operation, this includes but is not limited to: Clearing and cleaning of dirty crockery. Maintaining kitchen cleanliness by utilising the appropriate equipment and chemicals in a safe, effective and efficient manner in order to achieve the highest level of health and safety standards. Qualifications Experience working in a professional cleaning capacity (preferred). Experience in a kitchen environment (is an advantage but not essential). The ability to work flexible hours when and where necessary which will include weekend and night work. A naturally energetic and flexible disposition and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A proven capacity to work well under pressure and to strict timelines.
