We are now seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead our inbound and outbound logistics team, drive operational performance, and champion continuous improvement across our Wacol site. About the Role As the Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant management of inbound and outbound processes in line with the One Harvest Production System (OPS). You will lead, coach, and develop our warehouse teams while driving key improvement initiatives across service, safety, food safety, cost, and people. This role requires a strong, values-driven leader who can influence, motivate, and champion positive change across the site. This is a pivotal role that supports our journey towards Zero Harm , operational excellence, and the advancement of our automation and continuous improvement objectives. Roster is Tuesday - Saturday PM shift. Tuesday - Friday 12 noon start, Saturday 8/9am start. Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Lead, mentor, and develop team members and Team Leaders to ensure capability, agility, and strong performance. Promote and embed our One Harvest SPIRIT values across all logistics teams. Support site capability building for CI and automation initiatives, including WMS development. Operational Excellence Manage all inbound and outbound logistics activities to meet OPS standards and site KPIs. Work cross-functionally with Planning, Operations, and Technical teams to secure DIFOT, Casefill, and daily delivery targets. Ensure accurate documentation, inventory control (>99% accuracy), and adherence to CHEP processes including weekly audits. Safety & Food Safety Champion Zero Harm and drive proactive safety engagement and hazard identification. Ensure GMP standards, HACCP, food safety policies, and site presentation requirements are met across all logistics areas. Investigate incidents, near misses, and customer complaints to identify root causes and implement improvements. Continuous Improvement & Commercial Performance Execute best-practice systems and CI initiatives, including 5S development. Deliver a 5% reduction in distribution cost as a percentage of sales. Manage site logistics budgets, labour optimisation, inventory accuracy, and equipment hire (CHEP). Support the successful implementation of WMS and other automation projects.
