Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive leader with the ability to manage a team in a fast-moving environment and drive the successful performance of a section of the production. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following components: Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures. Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames. Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance. Optimising current processes and instigation of continuous improvement activity. Providing leadership and daily direction for staff of your section. Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follow all appropriate safety systems and processes. Skills And Experiences The successful candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities: Ability to work rostered hours consisting of Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm Experience in fresh produce or similar environment Hold a forklift licence (highly regarded) or applicant is driven to obtain licence whilst employed. Excellent interpersonal skills - working with a wide range of people. Motivated to continuously improve processes and procedures. Ability to coordinate activities efficiently and effectively. A champion of health & safety practices.
