As a Business Development Lead, you'll drive new business growth by defining and executing against a sales strategy and cultivating successful, high-growth relationships for KPMG. Your role will involve closely collaborating with client executives to ensure access to the full breadth of KPMG services and solutions to accelerate their success. How You're Extraordinary: As a Business Development Lead, you will: Drive Lead Generation Activities & Deal Execution Lead the firms growth strategy for two major global clients with significant presences in West Australia and have global operations Expand and identify client demand areas and opportunities and lead development of associate KPMG relationships and profile. Build and execute measurable strategies for marketing and thought leadership activities aligned to market demand drivers. Voice of Client - Provide regular progress reviews and address any roadblocks faced by the team. Develop Extensive Internal and External Networks & Market Insights Engage with KPMG colleagues and build relationships at all levels to facilitate continuous pipeline engagement. Actively participate in industry events and network with external peers and industry contacts. Establish a professional persona in the market by developing a wide network nationally and globally. Continuously expand sales, industry, and market knowledge and capabilities. Share new ideas and methods with team members to maintain best practices and stay informed about current market trends. To be considered for this role, your qualifications, skills, and experience may include: Business development experience with a track record of commercial negotiations in fast-paced organisations. Proven track record with engaging clients on broad discussion across the professional services offerings Deep understanding of Energy & Mining sector trends, issues, and recent developments, with a genuine passion for working within large and complex businesses. Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders. Highly developed communication and influencing skills to drive outcomes. Proven ability to create compelling proposals and value propositions, including proficiency with tools like Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM systems (preferably Dynamics) and data utilisation in the sales cycle.
