You will continue delivering high-quality compliance work while progressively taking ownership of client relationships under the guidance of a Senior Client Manager. Ideal for someone in public practice who enjoys client interaction and is ready to move beyond pure compliance into advisory and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Compliance Prepare and review financial statements Prepare and lodge individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns Perform reconciliations and ensure regulatory compliance Stay current with Australian tax and accounting standards Client & Portfolio Management Manage a portfolio of clients (with oversight) Build trusted client relationships and respond to queries Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes Assist with onboarding new clients Workflow & Advisory Support Coordinate client deadlines and internal workflows Maintain accurate client records in Handi Tax and Karbon Assist with financial reporting and client review meetings Support Senior Client Managers with advisory discussions Skills & Experience 3–6 years experience in public practice Strong financial statement and tax preparation experience Proficient in Handi Tax and Karbon Solid understanding of Australian tax and accounting regulations Excellent communication and client service skills Strong organisational ability and attention to detail Proactive, professional, and solutions-focused Career Progression This role is a clear pathway to Client Manager, with growing responsibility for: Client portfolio ownership Advisory conversations Workflow management Revenue contribution If you're ready to grow beyond compliance and take ownership of client relationships, wed love to hear from you.
