About the opportunity We are seeking a reliable and hands-on cotton Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Dalby site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with strong leadership skills and a background in warehousing, agriculture, or logistics. You will be responsible for overseeing cotton storage, handling, inventory control, and dispatch operations while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. You will work with and be responsible for a team of permanent staff as well as a seasonal team. K ey Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receivals and dispatch. Lead, train, and support warehouse staff. Ensure safe handling and storage of cotton bales. Maintain accurate inventory and documentation records. Coordinate transport and logistics schedules. Monitor equipment use and organise maintenance as required. Uphold workplace health and safety standards. Drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes. We operate in a demand led environment so although we deal with one commodity, you need to be able to cope with daily changes, and possess a ‘can do’, solutions-focused attitude. About you Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role (agriculture or cotton industry highly regarded) Strong leadership and team management skills Current forklift licence (required) AQIS certification or ability to obtain (required) Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Good computer skills and experience with inventory systems High attention to detail and strong organisational ability Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment SAP experience (highly regarded) You will need to be flexible in relation to hours worked which may include long days during peak seasons plus Saturdays and some Sundays depending on operational requirements.
