This is a full-time permanent hybrid position (5 days per week) during an important establishment and expansion phase, including relocation to new rooms and onboarding of an additional specialist. This role will suit an experienced medical administrator or Practice Manager who thrives in specialist healthcare environments and enjoys autonomy, accountability and system leadership. About the Practice Our client is a private Interventional Radiology specialist practice operating within the private hospital system in Perth. The practice is entering a significant growth phase and requires a confident, organised and commercially aware Practice Manager to ensure operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Practice Management & Operations End-to-end operational management of the medical practice Oversight of administrative workflows and patient coordination Identify system gaps and implement process improvements Ensure seamless clinic, billing and follow-up processes Work independently and autonomously with high accountability Clinic Coordination & Patient Flow Coordinate specialist outpatient clinics using Gentu Provide in-person clinic support (minimum Tuesday PM and Wednesday AM) Manage referrals, imaging, documentation and preparation Finalise and distribute specialist correspondence Theatre & Hospital Liaison Coordinate procedure lists and hospital bookings Liaise with private hospitals, admissions teams and theatre staff Manage pre- and post-procedure communication Billing & Financial Management Oversee private billing, receipting and debtors Monitor outstanding accounts and ensure follow-up Reconcile payments and manage financial reporting visibility Maintain accurate billing systems Referrer & Relationship Management Act as primary contact for referring doctors and practice staff Maintain strong professional relationships Support practice growth and service development initiatives Systems & Continuous Improvement Maintain and optimise use of Gentu practice management software Develop documented systems and workflows Assist with onboarding future staff Essential Criteria Demonstrated experience as a Medical Practice Manager or Specialist Clinic Manager Experience in a specialist, surgical or procedural medical practice Strong knowledge of medical billing, receipting and debtor management High-level organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment Confident communicator with doctors, patients, hospitals and referrers Ability to work autonomously and make operational decisions Recent Police Clearance Highly Regarded Proficiency using Gentu software Experience within Interventional Radiology, Surgery, Oncology or Cardiology Experience coordinating private hospital theatre bookings Personal Attributes Proactive and solutions-focused Commercially aware and accountable Calm under pressure Organised and dependable Professional and patient-centred Employment Details Position: Practice Manager Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Hours: 5 days per week (mixed in-person and remote structure - Hybrid) Location: Perth Remuneration: $45-$50 per hour (commensurate with experience) Immediate start preferred This is a rare opportunity to join a growing specialist medical practice at a pivotal stage of expansion.
