Your new role: As the Profit Centre Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day performance, culture, and profitability of the Hastings branch. You will balance people leadership with commercial outcomes, ensuring customers receive outstanding service while the business continues to grow. You will: Lead and develop a small branch team, creating a positive, engaged, and high-performing culture Drive sales growth and profitability through strong customer relationships Build trusted partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, and coaching to a developing team Oversee branch operations while maintaining a strong customer-facing presence Manage performance, targets, and results with a practical, people-focused approach. What you’ll need to succeed: Proven leadership experience in a trade, wholesale, or distribution environment Strong industry knowledge (electrical wholesale or similar highly regarded) A genuine people-first mindset – you lead through relationships, not paperwork Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers, and team members alike Sales experience and strong commercial acumen A hands-on, approachable leadership style that inspires trust and performance A current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights.
