I’m partnering with a well-established Australian menswear brand to recruit an experienced Product Manager to lead end-to-end product development across multiple categories. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment and enjoys taking product from concept through to retail delivery. The Opportunity Reporting into the Head of Product, you’ll be responsible for managing seasonal ranges from initial concept and supplier engagement through to sampling, costing, range sign-off and launch. You’ll work closely with design, garment tech, planning, marketing and retail teams, and manage one direct report within the product function. The business has a strong market position, established supplier base (local and offshore), and a clear merchandise strategy - this role plays a key part in executing that vision. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end product development across multiple seasonal drops Translate design direction into commercially viable, on-brand product Collaborate with design and suppliers to develop fabrics, yarns and trims in line with quality standards Lead the sampling process, including SMS approvals, fittings and cost negotiations Negotiate FOB, CMT and fabric pricing to achieve margin targets Manage critical path timelines to ensure on-time delivery Analyse sales performance to inform range decisions and future opportunities Support retail and wholesale range presentations with product knowledge and CADs Maintain product data and specifications within PLM / ERP systems Oversee quality standards throughout production in partnership with technical teams About You 5–10 years’ experience in menswear product development Proven experience managing offshore suppliers and factories Strong commercial and margin awareness Confident negotiating costs while maintaining quality Highly organised with excellent time management Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, planning and marketing Strong knowledge of fabrics, yarns, constructions and finishes Experience using Illustrator, Photoshop and apparel systems (e.g. PLM / Apparel 21) A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with leadership capability Why Consider This Role Join a stable, respected fashion business with a clear product vision High level of ownership and influence across the range Collaborative team environment with experienced leadership Based in Melbourne with a support office setting Apply now or reach out to meabrown@jivaro.com.au for a confidential conversation.
