They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / SME Company Accountant to manage financial activities. This is a hands-on, permanent & full time opportunity based in their Gold Coast office with onsite parking and various perks, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business. The Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a critical part of the operation. Your responsibilities will include: Managing accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations Processing payroll end-to-end Preparing and lodging BAS statements Bookkeeping using Xero Assist with onboarding new employees and some HR administrative functions Answering incoming calls and supporting general administrative tasks when required Preferred Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or SME accounting role Strong working knowledge of Xero and intermediate Excel skills Experience working within small to medium-sized businesses A practical, commercial mindset with clear communication skills Payroll processing and BAS preparation experience Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to work autonomously while also being a team player Why You'll Love It Stable business with long-tenured staff Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm - That's it!
