We are currently recruiting for a casual Clinical Aged Care Assessor to join a leading not for profit organization in New South Wales. This role would involve purely carrying out phone assessments as opposed to face to face, and as such the person for this role can be based anywhere. There is flexibility in terms of work arrangement – either full time hours or part time hours. The role would go for at least 6 months. Details for the role: Clinical Aged Care Assessor position – phone based / remote Possibility to be located anywhere Salary from $45- $60 per hour, plus super Flexible work arrangements – full time or part time. Initially for a period of 6 months, but potential for permanent work. Fully remote position, doing clinical aged care assessments over the phone Work hours would need to be during normal office hours. Requirement for someone to be located in NSW or the ACT About the organization: This role is working for a long established not for profit organization who have worked extensively within the aged care area. You would join a larger team, with support provided from management in Sydney. Duties include: Work independently to conduct clinical aged care assessments over the phone. Develop Support Plans to assist clients in achieving their goals and living independently in their own homes and community. Understanding individual needs and consulting with clients to co-create meaningful support plans and life goals Support older people to continue to live independently Use the integrated assessment tool with My Aged Care Work closely with families, carers and other stakeholders Maintain compliance with statutory and organisational standards Requirements: Qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist with current AHPRA Registration or Social Worker with AASW Registration We are looking for someone who has experience working as an ACAT Assessor or through the Regional Assessment Service (RAS), and / or with qualifications / certificates to work as a Clinical Assessor. Minimum one year experience within aged care Experience in assessment and goal orientated support planning in aged, community, health or social services Requirement for someone to be located in NSW or the ACT On Offer: Possibility to be located anywhere within NSW Hourly rate from $45- $60 per hour, plus super Fully remote role with flexible work arrangements – full time or part time.
