Osborne Richardson is delighted to be working with a fantastic council in Melbourne to offer opportunities as a Parking Officer. If you like to be out and about in the local community, this is the job for you. Most contracts start out for 3 months, with options to extend, giving you excellent career opportunities. An average day as a Parking Officer looks like: Enforcing parking regulations throughout the city through conducting patrols and issuing parking infringement notices. Maintaining and operating handheld devices/computers/body worn cameras and other associated parking technology equipment. Enforcing and educating the community on issues relating to enforcement of parking regulations. Assisting in the removal of abandoned vehicles as required. Reporting damage to Council assets, including damaged signs, incidents of graffiti and general items of infrastructure. To be considered for these exciting positions, we're looking for people with: Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills. A background in compliance would be advantageouus. Confidence in deescalating confronting situations. Great work ethic and ability to work as part of a team. Excellent fitness levels, as the role involves a lot of walking. Current driver’s licence.
