Job Description Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests. Key Responsibilities Include: Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment. Support less experienced team members when required. Shift Details (subject to change): Breakfast and dinner shifts Split shifts may be required on some days Part-time position with a minimum 20 hours per week Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation): Monday - Friday: $28.12 per hour Saturday: $35.15 per hour Sunday: $42.18 per hour
