We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities across major brownfield sustaining capital projects for a Tier 1 Iron Ore miner. This role is responsible for developing and executing end‑to‑end commissioning strategies, managing multi‑discipline commissioning teams, and ensuring the seamless handover of assets into Operations. You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including Operations Readiness, PSA Operations & Maintenance, Technical Services, Water Operations, Environmental, and EEG & Asset Management. About the role: Establish commissioning plans and systemisation strategies for each project Develop and manage project CCMS and completions processes Define commissioning execution strategies across both projects Build, lead and mentor a multi‑discipline commissioning team Oversee commissioning activities from completions through to operational handover Ensure rigorous risk management, SIMOPS controls and safe energisation/start‑up sequencing Consolidate final commissioning documentation and facilitate smooth transition to operations Coordinate OEM/vendor commissioning activities as required About you: To be considered for this position you will ideally have: Extensive experience in minerals processing projects (iron ore preferred) with at least 5 years in senior commissioning management Strong commissioning experience across process water systems, slurry pumping, and related electrical/instrumentation infrastructure Demonstrated capability with HV/LV systems, MV drives, control systems, instrumentation, and managing commissioning risk, SIMOPS and punch‑lists High‑level proficiency with Orbit or similar CCMS platforms and a relevant degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Minerals Processing Engineering This role is initially Perth-based and will move into a hybrid site arrangement as the projects progress into commissioning.
