Our client, who is a leading provider of raised access floor systems, data center airflow management, and structural ceiling solutions is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for day shift & afternoon shift for their manufacturing facility located in Sydney’s western suburbs. One Role for a day Shift Team Leader – 6:30am – 2:30pm One Role for an afternoon Shift Team Leader 2:30pm – 11:00pm Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, dispatching, and inventory control. Monitor and optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to ensure efficient material flow. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions. Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded. Conduct regular team briefings to communicate targets, updates, and safety protocols. Plan and schedule outbound deliveries in coordination with transport providers and internal departments. Allocate transport resources based on delivery priorities, load capacities, and customer requirements. Liaise with freight companies and drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Track and resolve transport-related issues such as delays, damages, or documentation discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of transport schedules, manifests, and compliance documentation. Oversee stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation. Ensure timely data entry and system updates using warehouse management software (Navision). Coordinate with procurement and internal teams to manage inbound and outbound stock levels. Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to build a high-performing team. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Experience & Qualifications Required: 2-3 years proven experience in warehouse/manufacturing operation s and team leadership. Strong understanding of logistics, transport scheduling, and inventory systems.
