They are now seeking an Assistant Store Manager with solid fresh produce knowledge to strengthen their leadership team. About the Role As Assistant Store Manager , you will play a key role in overseeing grocery & fresh departments, with a strong focus on produce performance. You will be responsible for produce ordering, managing wastage and shrinkage, maintaining quality standards and ensuring the department is presented to a high standard at all times. Alongside fresh oversight, you will support the Store Manager with daily operations, team leadership, rostering and driving store performance. This is a hands on role suited to someone who understands high volume stock movement and tight margin control. Skills and Experience Leadership experience from supermarket, petrol and convenience, or hospitality such as restaurant or cafe Strong understanding of produce ordering, wastage and shrinkage control Ability to manage teams and drive performance Commercial mindset with strong stock control knowledge High standards around quality, presentation and customer service Rewards and Benefits $85,000 Super Monday to Friday (ability to work weekends if required) Work with a strong Queensland independent supermarket Stable long-term opportunity Supportive leadership team Real opportunity to make an impact Excellent growth Ready to apply?
