Responsibilities This position will work across the customer service department on various tasks/duties to achieve greater efficiencies while operating within company guidelines and with a customer focus. Accurately and professionally process customer requests, in an efficient and timely manner within the customer service team. Participate in all areas of Export and Import Cargo bookings, documentation and container release tasks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist in resolving enquiries for both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner related to Shipment, documentation, Invoices and claims. Comply and follow Hapag-Lloyd standard operating procedures and local area guideline to perform their tasks as customer service coordinator. Qualifications Skills and Experience: Open-Minded & Positive Attitude Customer Focus with a proactive customer service mentality Problem-solving mindset Effective communication skills and ability to take initiative. Ability to work under pressure Enthusiast team player Proficiency with basic user application systems (e.g. MS Office Suite) Very good command of written and spoken English. Ideal Candidates would also have: Basic work experience in liner shipping or freight forwarding. Knowledge of/proficiency with specific CRMS, and user application systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP)
