Job Description Position Title: Financial Accountant Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Bella Vista, Sydney (must be open to working onsite in Canberra for the first 3 months) Annual salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per annum plus 12% super Travel arrangements: Candidate must work onsite in Canberra for first three months. Approx $1,250 per week for the initial 3 month period will be provided by Elite Supplements to cover travel expenses. ABOUT THE ROLE Elite Supplements Group, one of Australia’s fastest-growing health and wellness companies, is seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to support financial control, reporting accuracy and compliance across their multi-entity Group. This role is responsible for month-end and year-end close, intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory compliance and audit support across Australian, Singaporean and New Zealand entities. You’ll operate in a fast-paced commercial environment, managing high transaction volumes while improving processes and reporting accuracy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments Manage intercompany accounting and eliminations Reconcile intercompany balances and maintain director loans / related party accounts Own key balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepayments, leave liabilities, director loans, fixed assets, suspense accounts, gift cards, sales clearing, and tax balances Prepare and reconcile GST/BAS obligations Support tax expense calculations across AU, SG, and NZ entities Act as a finance contact during external audits Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor queries Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy Support finance system optimisation across Xero, Cin7, Translucent, and other platforms Contribute to building scalable financial processes as the Group grows SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) 3 years of financial accounting experience Strong experience managing month-end and year-end close processes Intercompany accounting and eliminations experience Advanced balance sheet reconciliation across complex accounts Inventory accounting and stock reconciliation experience Knowledge of deferred tax (DTA / DTL) and tax expense calculations Exposure to property accounting and lease accounting Experience working with auditors or in an audit environment Multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction reporting exposure Strong technical accounting and compliance capability Desirable Retail, wholesale, or multi-channel eCommerce industry exposure Experience across AU, SG, and NZ tax environments Exposure to Xero, Cin7, Translucent, or similar systems Experience contributing to finance transformation initiatives ELIGIBILITY Must have full Australian working rights On-site presence in Canberra required for at least the first three months Apply now or contact Angel Malkovich on 6260 8888 at SOS Recruitment for a confidential discussion.
