We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. Your duties and responsibilities as a motor mechanic will be, but not limited to, the following: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthy reports where required Remove and replace worn or defective parts and reassemble mechanical components Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed effectively Maintain accurate service records and documentation Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workplace health and safety standards Essential Requirements: Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) At least one year of relevant qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Valid driver’s licence Desirable: Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and computerised systems
