Description I-MED Radiology Network is pleased to be offering an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the team in our Northeast Melbourne Region. Box Hill Clinic within Epworth Eastern Hospital will be your home base. This will be a Casual position with the view to becoming permanent . Work is between the hours of (8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Area Nurse Coordinator and working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team you will provide high quality nursing support and recovery services to the clinic. Supernumerary training will be provided. Key accountabilities include: Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure. Interventional Procedures Include: Biopsies, Epidurals, Spinal injections, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages and Pain Management Injections. Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers Key selection criteria: Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team Strong interpersonal and communication skills Well-developed time management and organisational skills Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing (Desirable but dot essential).
