Mill Operators wanted in Townsville Monday–Thursday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Friday: 6:00 am – 12:00 pm Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays If you have experience in a manufacturing environment, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others this could be the role for you. The role Assisting with the setting up, adjusting, and operating of machinery for producing steel beams for roofing and other steel roofing products Learning how to read and interpret detailed orders and drawings for production Monitoring product quality, ensuring finished product meets expected requirements Jumping in helping other departments when and where the need arises Operate and monitor rollforming equipment to produce roofing and walling profiles Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Perform basic machine maintenance and report any issues Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production targets Overhead crane operation About you Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol test and interview prior to commencement. Overhead crane operation experience (preferred; training available) Potential to go long-term so we are looking for someone who is willing to take on a long-term position.
