The Nitty Gritty Based in Central NSW near Nyngan, you will have demonstrated experience in an underground hard rock metalliferous mining environment. Current Vacancies: Charge Hands: 7:7 Rotating Continuous Roster, 12 hour shifts, Residential/DIDO Current SafeWork NSW Security Clearance (SC). Current SafeWork NSW Blasting Explosives User License (BEUL) or the ability to achieve the license. Demonstrate knowledge and competence in safe and efficient blasting not limited to prepping, charging and firing tasks for development headings, longhole rises and production stopes. Demonstrate knowledge of statutory and safe work procedures for the transport, handling, use, manufacture, storage and stock management of explosives. Good all round work performance and positive attitude toward Health, Safety and Environment policies, processes and systems and the care of equipment; and, Competent in peripheral tasks (service duties, operating ancillary plant), workplace safety inspections, service checks and basic general maintenance on equipment. Shift Supervisors: 8:6, 7:7 Rotating Continuous Roster, 12 hour shifts, Residential/DIDO/FIFO : options available RII40320 A Certificate IV Metalliferous Mining Operations or Bachelor of Mining Engineering issued by an Australian university or RII50215 - Diploma of Underground Metalliferous Mining Management. RIIRIS402E - Carry out the risk management processes; RIIUND401E - Apply and monitor the ventilation management plan, RIIWHS403E - Apply the work health and safety management plan and RIIBLA401E Manage blasting operations. RIIERR404D - Apply and monitor underground metalliferous mine emergency preparedness and response systems NSW Mine Supervisor’s certificate of competency and current practicing certificate. Extensive experience in both underground operational roles and supervising / managing underground mining operations in both development and production activities. An understanding of the NSW Work Health and Safety legislation including Mines and Petroleum legislation. 7 Years Underground Operator experience. 3 years leadership experience with at least 6 months working as a second in charge (2IC) mine supervisor. Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability and computer skills, quick learner, very good written and verbal communication skills. The Company Tritton Operations Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
