Aligned Healthcare is currently partnering with a number of leading public and community-based mental health services across Melbourne and regional Victoria who are seeking experienced Mental Health Clinicians. About the Roles We are recruiting across a variety of settings including: Community Mental Health Child & Youth Mental Health Acute Intervention/Crisis Teams (CATT) Phone Triage/Intake Services Specialist streams (AOD, Perinatal, Forensic, etc.) While each role differs, the core focus remains the same: clinical assessment, risk management, care planning and coordinated intervention. Key Responsibilities May Include: Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments (including MSE) Completing structured suicide and risk assessments Developing safety plans and recovery-oriented care plans Providing brief therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation Managing a clinical caseload (where applicable) Liaising with GPs, psychiatrists, families and external services Coordinating referrals and care pathways Working within clinical governance and legislative frameworks About You You will be a qualified and registered clinician with experience in secondary or tertiary mental health services. Eligible backgrounds include: Registered Psychiatric Nurse (AHPRA registered) Social Worker (AASW eligible) Occupational Therapist (AHPRA registered) Psychologist (AHPRA registered) You will demonstrate: Strong clinical assessment and formulation skills Experience conducting risk assessments and safety planning Confidence managing complex presentations Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team Sound documentation and decision-making skills Experience in public mental health, crisis services, triage or community case management is highly regarded.
