About the role: The Student Administration Manager leads the student administration functions, ensuring a seamless, student-focused experience across enrolments, program administration, records management, and student lifecycle operations. This role will manage 8 direct reports and 4 indirect reports to ensure effective service delivery and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end student lifecycle operations, including enrolments, program administration, attendance monitoring, and student record governance Oversee enrolment processes such as deferrals, withdrawals, transfers, suspensions, COE extensions, and appeals, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance Provide strategic guidance and support on service design, student experience, and operational improvements Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of critical student data across all systems and programs Lead teams across Program Administration and Enrolment Operations, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Partner with internal stakeholders, including Academic Programs, Admissions, IT, Compliance, and Finance, to align lifecycle services and support cross-functional initiatives Drive system enhancements, process redesign, and evidence-based improvements to improve efficiency and student outcomes Ensure all administrative processes comply with regulatory frameworks, institutional policies, and quality standards Act as a senior escalation point for complex student lifecycle matters Skills and Experience: Degree qualification with extensive experience in student administration, enrolment operations, and program administration Proven leadership of multi-team administrative or lifecycle functions in a high-volume environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and compliance capabilities Advanced stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and system enhancements Experience managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards Experience with domestic and international students, pathway or transnational education, ESOS, TEQSA, HESF compliance, additional languages Benefits: Lead a high-performing, values-driven team and make a tangible impact on student experience Work in a collaborative environment with opportunities to drive process improvements and innovation Contribute to a dynamic, strategic higher education organisation with global reach Apply now: If you’re interested in this role, please send your resume to claire@tidalrecruitmentpartners.com.au
