What You’ll Do: Our National Transport Office (NTO) team is based at our Coffs Harbour, NSW depot, with this newly created role located at our Rocklea Depot in Brisbane, QLD. Expanding interstate strengthens operational coverage and supports our Linehaul network, with close liaison across drivers, operations, compliance, and customers. We’re seeking an Allocator to keep freight moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This fast-paced role sits at the centre of daily operations, coordinating movements, managing priorities, and ensuring compliance. Ideal for someone who communicates clearly, uses sound judgement, and thrives under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Freight & Logistics Coordination – Oversee the timely and efficient movement of freight and deliveries Warehouse & Team Leadership – Manage warehouse floor operations, supervise forklift drivers, and maintain stock accuracy Operational Compliance – Ensure adherence to fatigue, mass, and maintenance requirements in line with NHVR laws and legislation Safety Management – Promote and enforce workplace safety standards Load Planning & Scheduling – Build and optimise freight loads to align with customer needs and operational efficiency Resource & Equipment Planning – Strategically allocate assets to maximise performance Process Enforcement – Implement and uphold business processes and operational rules to maintain high standards What You’ll Bring: Fast-Paced Environment Experience – A background in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, or other high-speed operations Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to make quick decisions, coordinate teams, and liaise effectively with stakeholders Adaptability & Resilience – Comfortable handling multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and working under pressure Transport Knowledge (Preferred but Not Essential) – Understanding of freight networks is beneficial but not required; training will be provided BFM Accreditation or Willingness to Obtain – Familiarity with NHVR regulations and legal weight requirements is an advantage Flexibility – Willing to work varying hours, including weekends, as required Driven by Challenge – Thrives in a fast-paced environment , embraces problem-solving , and enjoys finding solutions in dynamic situations What We Offer: Receive a Gift to celebrate your service milestones.
