The team is looking for an experience Internal Medicine Nurse to join our brand-new facility, working closely with Dr Ingrid Goodman and Dr Lisa Singer. This is a full-time, permanent position offering 38 hours per week. To learn more about our Medicine team please click on this link: https://sashvets.com/our-team/ About You We are looking for a passionate Internal Medicine Nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work. We are looking for someone with the following skills: A keen interest in Internal Medicine with a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey, from admission through to discharge. Experience with supporting medicine specialists with medicine procedures, imaging and facilitating blood work ups etc. An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in monitoring anaesthesia. Confidence working in an extremely busy environment. To be considered for this position, applicants must have: Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse. Previous experience in internal medicine would be highly regarded but is not essential. BVSc in Veterinary Technology, or an interest in obtaining VTS in internal medicine is highly desirable but not necessary. What’s in it for You?
