The Mental Health Clinician – Allied Health professional will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of services to adults experiencing emotional distress, crises, mental ill health and/or addiction, and to their families, supporting people and carers, through a “No wrong door” approach. The MMHC provides a holistic approach to care, addressing a range of social, physical and Emotional needs informed by the Collaborative Recovery Model (CRM) and supported by best practice in evidence- based and evidence informed care. You will draw on your discipline specific skills to provide high quality interventions aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing outcomes for consumers accessing the MMHC. The Mental Health Clinician role will have a focus on clinical assessment, collaborative care planning and navigating consumers to access holistic and integrated care. You will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team that includes clinical staff and psycho-social, staff and will work closely with the MMHC leadership team to support and maintain a positive culture, to motivate high performance and to support continuous quality improvement. This position requires participation in a rotating roster, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
