About the Role Reporting to the Principal and Director of Wellbeing, you will play a key role in the Wellbeing Team, providing counselling, guidance, and support to students. The position works within a continuum of care model, supporting students at every level from primary prevention through to restoring wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality individual and small group counselling for students Collaborate with families, staff, and external agencies to provide holistic support Lead wellbeing initiatives, parent workshops, and staff professional learning sessions Support behaviour intervention planning and NCCD processes Respond effectively to critical incidents, risk concerns, and emergencies Maintain accurate student records and data to meet legislative, school, and regulatory requirements Contribute to a positive and safe learning environment, modelling restorative and inclusive practices Engage in professional learning, supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives This role is highly relational and visible within the school, ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with students in classrooms and contributing to whole-school wellbeing programs. About You Essential: Full registration with AHPRA (Psychologist) or ACA (Counsellor) or equivalent Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work Demonstrated experience working with adolescents and their families Strong understanding of child safety and mandatory reporting obligations Highly Regarded: Previous experience in educational settings Knowledge of restorative practice, positive education, and mindfulness Familiarity with NCCD requirements Social Workers with strong counselling experience and relevant registration are encouraged to apply.
