The Opportunity Working as an experienced member of the Energy Transition team (Real Assets Investment team) your role is to make an important contribution to the development, implementation and active management of energy transition investment strategies and investments. It is a requirement that you hold a combination of energy sector expertise together with strong financial and commercial acumen. The Energy Transition team is responsible for leading and executing the Future Fund's strategic approach to investing in the Energy Transition sector. You will be part of the dedicated Energy Transition team which will work with sector teams across the Future Fund portfolio. The Energy Transition team collaborates with teams, spanning the full range of traditional and alternative investment sectors, including infrastructure & timberland, private equity, listed equities, credit, real estate, hedge funds/alternatives. The key duties of the position include Key Responsibilities In this position, you'll lead M&A transactions, conduct due diligence on new fund relationships and co-investments, and work closely with our investment partners as well as portfolio companies to monitor performance and help shape strategies for current investments in the energy transition sector. The investment scope covers both domestic and international markets. As a member of the Investment team, you will be required to provide insights into the Future Fund's broader investment programs to support the achievement of the investment objectives of the various investment mandates managed by the Agency. This role is expected to have regard to the total portfolio risk/return characteristics and guidelines.
