The key duties of the position include The Role The Project Manager is required to: Manage a range of project activities and coordinate project inputs. Manage schedule, risk, budget and resources, preparation of briefings, submissions, reports and returns relating to the project progress and issues. Identify risks and opportunities and take account of these in planning, decision making and priority setting. Build and sustain stakeholder engagement, including communicating with influence and effective negotiation. Analyse project performance against compliance, agreed plans and develop and initiate strategies to achieve project outcomes. Provide input into the development of project planning, performance, cost and schedule documents and work breakdown structures. About our Team The Romeo Enterprise Office is responsible for managing the capability, sustainment, and ongoing development of the MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopter and the safety of its aviators and aircraft maintenance staff through Foreign Military Sales and Cooperative Program arrangements with the US Government, and collaboration with International and Australian Industry Partners. The successful applicant will join a diverse team at a critical time in the Capability Assurance Project. The role will help shape the future of the MH-60R program for years to come, ensuring the MH-60R remains available and lethal when and where required, delivered under a cost effective and financially compliant framework. Our Ideal Candidate The Ideal Candidate will have: Knowledge of legislative frameworks and policy requirements. Demonstrated ability to work independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability. Demonstrated capability to exercise both initiative and judgment in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures. Project management technical, professional, and policy advice experience, including contribution to strategic planning, program, and project management and policy development. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, and ability to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations.
